I’m really still adjusting to the finger typing of the iPhone. I was a master thumb-typer on the Blackberry, but it’s tough to do on the iPhone.

One app that’s made it a bit easier is TouchType. It allows a user to compose email and Tweets, with spell-check, in a separate window, using the landscape mode keyboard. It works nicely and does make it a bit easier to thumb-type. Even at that, the missing tactile response of the Blackberry buttons is a big minus. I’m adjusting, but it’s the one thing about the Blackberry that I really prefer over the iPhone.

It’s another start for the site. I’ve killed off the other blogging projects for the sake of a better focus here. I hope to do much more original stuff here than I’ve done in the past few years.

New look. New feel. New commitment.

I cleaned up some of the apps on the iPhone this morning – stuff that looked attractive and useful when I downloaded them, but that seldom get used. I’m now down to three screens, all of which contain apps I actually use regularly.

The app I’ve waited for with the most anticipation is the uSirius StarPlayr Sirius XM app. It’s been in Apple’s approval queue for nearly three weeks, now. Hopefully, it’ll be out in the next few days and I can add CNN and MLB Home Plate to my daily listening.
